About KEMSA

Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) is a state corporation under the Ministry of Health established under the KEMSA Act 2013.

We are mandated to procure, warehouse and distribute Health Products and Technologies (HPTs) for prescribed public health programs, the national strategic stock reserves, prescribed essential health packages and national referral hospitals.

We are dedicated to provide quality, affordable essential HPTs and supply chain solutions to save and transform lives within the East Africa Region. KEMSA plays an important role in the national agenda of implementing Universal Health coverage (UHC) by ensuring availability of HPTs across the country.
